The new variants
- Speed Baccarat: rounds of about 27 seconds instead of about a minute. Same edge per hand, roughly twice the hands per hour.
- No Commission: Banker wins pay 1:1 with no 5% fee, but a Banker win on a total of 6 pays half.
- Squeeze: cards are revealed slowly for drama; the odds do not change.
- Lightning Baccarat: random multipliers on some cards, funded by a 20% fee on every bet.
Each game's help screen states its exact payouts. Read it before you play a variant for the first time.
Main bets and side bets
| Bet | Pays | House edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker | 1:1 minus 5% | 1.06% |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% |
| Player or Banker Pair | 11:1 | about 10% to 11% |
Side bets pay more and cost more. If you play them, keep them to a small share of each stake, for example one unit in ten.
Betting systems
Martingale doubles your stake after each loss. From a GH₵10 base, six losses in a row cost GH₵630 and the seventh bet is GH₵640 often above the table limit. Fibonacci and 1-3-2-4 grow more slowly but have the same problem: none of them changes the edge on any single hand.
Flat stakes of one unit keep losses predictable and let you see what a session really costs.
Bankroll and practice
- Decide the session budget in cedis before you start and stop when it is gone.
- Set the unit at 1% to 2% of that budget.
- Use demo modes on RNG baccarat to learn the bets; live tables have none.
- Check whether your bonus counts baccarat before you claim it; many exclude it.
